Looking to significantly strengthen their brand, Spermalie turned to Say Hey. The task was to modernize the brand, make it trendier, more versatile, and compatible with contemporary media, while still respecting tradition and recognizability.

The result is a brand identity that reflects the school's tradition as well as its passion, professionalism, and warm atmosphere. With a strong reputation and a wide range of practical training programs in hospitality, tourism, recreation, communication, and media, Spermalie had more than enough ingredients to fulfill this assignment.

Prestige and style

For over 70 years, Spermalie has been a leading educational institution in Flanders. Known for its collaborative approach, the school needed a brand identity that reflected its values and put students first. A detailed style guide ensures consistency within the institution.

Baseline

Shape your future

The new baseline underscores Spermalie's ambition to guide students in realizing their dreams and ‘shaping their own future’. The rebranding aims to create a visually appealing and recognizable brand that reflects the school's values. It provides the school with a framework to streamline all communication across all media, carriers, and documents.

From signage to gadgets

A brand is more than just a logo, some designs and some flyers. We created all sorts of custom and specific designs, like envelopes, business cards, and stickers. Everything had a fresh, new look. Our designers even came up with fun gadgets like socks and tote bags. It's a great way to show some love to the loyal fans (the teachers and students).

Results

Through this project, Spermalie was able to develop a strong brand identity. The new communication and marketing tools contribute to a positive image of the school, hopefully inspiring young chefs and maîtres to pursue their dream careers. The slogan "Shape your future" has now become part of the vocabulary of both teachers and students.
